This 4-Point Roll Cage for the MR2 ZZW30 can be fitted in conjunction with the Soft Top and has been designed to utilise the OEM Toyota Soft Top retentionlatch. As used on our own ZZW30!
Aimed towards Track Day enthusiasts or owners looking to add some roll over protection to their MR2. Although a 'Bolt In' design, this Roll Bar will requirewelding of the spreader plates to the floor of the vehicleto reinforce the metal and provide a base for the Roll Cage to mount to.
Made from CDS Tube (Cold Drawn Seamless) to MSA Bluebook Standards, however you can't compete with this Roll Bar as it is not an approved design for Motorsport. That being said, we highly recommend this Roll Cage for some added protection. It should be noted that this Roll Bar also adds significant Structural Rigidity to the car and should be considered a big performance upgrade where the chassis is concerned.
Featuring a cross diagonal (X) design with strengthening gussets. Harnesses can be attached to Harness Bars, also retains OEM Seat Belts.
This Roll Cage is supplied via Pallet Delivery (Mainland UK Only) and will come unpainted, due to the high risk of scratches or damage during transport. We recommend test fitting the cage before committing to painting it. The Roll Cage and Spreader Plates MUST be fitted by a qualified Welder/Fabricator. Modifications may be necessary to achieve the ideal fit to your vehicle.
